Airshow to Blow Away Summer

Entertainment for all ages

Summer is almost over. But that doesn't mean the fun should stop. Join thousands of dropped-jaws this September 23-25 and welcome one of the most anticipated spectacles in North America, the California International Air Show.

Salinas, CA, hosts its 31st annual display of high-flying, car-crushing, historical events. Witness one of the biggest fireworks display on the Central Coast on September 23rd, accompanied by a live performance by the Monterey Bay Symphony (www.montereycountysymphony.org). Music will begin at 7:30pm. Fireworks display is still to be announced.

Flying high in the sky will be Tora, Tora, Tora, a reenactment of the attack at Pearl Harbor, which paved way to American involvement in World War II. Relive a share of history, and watch six Japanese replica aircrafts bomb American soil as our brave soldiers resist.

Not enough action?

Featured all weekend will be the 40-inch, 58,000-pound machine, Robosaurus. Watch him lift, devour, and blow up cars weighing 4,000 pounds. This rapid-moving, destructive machine will surely make its impressions felt.

For the kids, there will be a Carl's Jr. KidZone, filled with games and activities, so fun is surely inevitable.

Pre-ordered tickets begin at only $15 for adults and $10 for children. Friday only, kids 12 and under get in free with an adult with a paid ticket.

Gates open at 4pm on Friday, and 9am on Saturday and Sunday. Line-up and schedule have yet to be announced.
