Get Served

American actress Joan Collins, best known for her role on the television show “Dynasty,” once said, “I believe in eating well, not eating too much but eating a variety of foods.” I’m sure if she lived on the peninsula she would love to experience this event of epic food proportion.

The 3rd Annual Monterey Bay Restaurant Week is an event that showcases top chefs, restaurants, food and wine in search for the best in timing in the Monterey Peninsula. The event will take place Oct. 20-27 and offers 3-course specialty meals from restaurants across all over the area including Flaherty’s in Carmel, Restaurant 1833 in Monterey, and Fandango in Pacific Grove. Prices will be fixed at $25, $35 or $45 and will offer several options on each menu. For more information visit the website at www.montereyrestaurantweek.com

So follow Joan Collins’ advice and come eat well; not too much, but just enough and eat a variety like you never have before at this year’s Restaurant Week.
