What is the Best Part of College?

Recently a lot of people from my hometown and surrounding cities have been asking me a common question; what is the best part of college? I did not have an exact answer for this question because there are so many different aspects to consider. So in turn, this question gave me inspiration to conduct a survey around campus, asking students what is the best part of college. 100 students were interviewed.

     5. Freedom 10/100 - Some students said the best part of college is being free, away from parents, and able to set their own rules.

     4. Education 15/100 - “Education is the key.” These students said the best part of college was the opportunity to learn and better themselves as education scholars.

     3. Diversity 17/100 - The opportunity to meet new people from different backgrounds and different culture is an experience for the ages.

     2. Scenery 22/100 - It is said the best part of CSUMB is its scenery. Beautiful weather and down the street from the beach, can’t get better than that.

     1. PARTIES 36/100 - The leading response was parties. College students love to get their boogie on. I am pretty sure this response is universal considering the fact that college and parties goes together like white on rice.
