Otters Play Against Cal State LA

The Cal State Monterey Bay Men's Baseball team traveled to Los Angeles, Ca this past weekend to play a four game series against the Cal State Los Angeles team.

They played a tough game on Friday night against the Golden Eagles. After a tied game in the fourth the Golden Eagles hit a two-run homer, and then they scored another two in the seventh inning which allowed the Golden Eagles to end the game with a final score of 5-1.

In the first game the Otters showed up ready to play. On Saturday the Otters played a double header against the Golden Eagles. The Otters took the game into 11 innings and ended the game with a score of 5-2.

In the second game the Otters and the Golden Eagles fought a tough battle but in the fifth inning the Golden Eagles scored the only run of the game. The Otters fell to the Golden Eagles with a final score of 0-1.

The Otters ended the series on Sunday against the Golden Eagles. All of the Otter's starters had at least one hit and they made a total of 13 runs. The team played a strong defense as well with only allowing two runs to come in from the Golden Eagles. The final score was 13-2 which was a very big win for the Otters.

The Otters are playing hard this season and are aiming to have the best season the school has ever seen, they are currently tied with the schools best record of 11-12.
